Orland Park Crossing opened in Fall 2005. This lifestyle center, located in Chicago’s southwest suburb of Orland Park, serves the affluent southwest suburban area and includes retail, office and for-sale town homes. Orland Park Crossing sits at the northeast corner of LaGrange Road and 143rd Street and is adjacent to the Orland Park Metra Train station. Daily traffic on LaGrange Road is approximately 45,000 cars in front of the property. Orland Park Crossing features lifestyle retailers such as Talbots, Ann Taylor, Chico’s, White House/Black Market, Swoozie’s and Coldwater Creek. Restaurants include Panera Bread, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Granite City Food & Brewery and Starbucks.
Orland Park Crossing benefits from the strong demographics and retail concentration in the trade area. The trade area population is 532,333 people and the average household income is $90,313. The additional retail within a five-mile radius makes the center part of a retail hub that generates traffic for each venue.
An additional 58,281 square feet of retail and office space will complete the 1st phase of the project bringing the center to a total of 135,000 square feet. When fully developed, it is anticipated that Orland Park Crossing will contain approximately 300,000 square feet of commercial area.
